Can you help with any of the following ? Alfred Humphries and Chinnor Windmill The notes of Henry Birch and Mr Everett Do you have any old documents? Alfred Humphries and Chinnor Windmill Do you know the whereabouts of the journals of Alfred Humphries, millwright from Thame who worked on the Chinnor Windmill around a hundred years ago? His journals were used by the late Wilfred Foreman, author of 'Oxfordshire Mills'. If anyone has any information on the journals, please contact Colin Greville, at colin@22cowleaze.fsnet.co.uk. Return to List The notes of Henry Birch and Mr Everett In 1941, a series of articles appeared in the Thame Gazette entitled "The Inns of Thame" which referred to information obtained from three rating assessments of 1825, 1832, and 1838, and also a notebook once belonging to the solicitor Henry Birch, which contained many notes on the history of Thame. These were loaned from a Mr Everett. Does anyone have information as to the possible whereabouts of these documents, or does anyone have any information about Mr Everett or any of his relatives?
