The Thame Historical Society Research Group promotes and carries out research
into every aspect of the history of the town. Members generally follow their own interests and meet informally to discuss progress and to provide mutual support and guidance. Many projects are aimed at providing data for the Thame History Database. Equally, research is carried out using information provided from the database. The Research Group meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Thame Adult Education Centre, Towersey Road, at 7.30pm. Meetings are informal and provide a relaxed forum for discussing a wide range of local history research topics. New members are always welcome, as there is still much work to be done. |
